Ontario City Library Presents Art Week For Adults
The Ontario City Library is proud to receive a grant from the California Center for the Book to support art programming for adults. The grant will go towards funding for three unique art programs the week of June 25, 2018.
Come enjoy the Library’s Pop Up Art Show on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM. This one time, one hour event showcases art prints and pieces belonging to Library staff and members of the community. Light refreshments will be served.
On Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 5 PM – 9 PM, an art-themed, four hour movie marathon will occur featuring the award winning fourth season of PBS’ Art 21. The marathon will provide a wealth of interesting information about fine art and will include free popcorn. Guests are invited to come and go as they wish during the four hour movie marathon.
A very special Art Talk will culminate the week on Saturday, June 30 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Come learn from Chaffey Community Museum of Art President, Nancy DeDiemar Jones about being new to fine art, how to understand it and how it enriches daily lives. Light refreshments will be served.
Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to enjoy one or more of the three unique Art Week for Adults programs. Each event will occur at the Ovitt Family Community Library, located at 215 E.
