Open Studio at CCMA is a place for artists to come together and create art in the presence of other artists. Figuring drawing is the backbone of an art education. Working from live models instructs the art student in the principles of light, form, rhythm, composition and anatomy. An awareness of the ideal figure and head must become second nature to the successful artist, who will then be able to render less-ideal shapes.

Awards levels include First Place, Second Place, Third Place, and up to 4 Honorable Mentions. The Award Presentation will begin at 6 PM. This event is free.

Design your own Día de los Muertos mask and enter the City of Ontario-wide contest co-hosted by the City of Ontario’s Ovitt Family Community Library and Recreation and Community Services. The annual Día de los Muertos - Mask Making Event is held at local community centers, both library sites, and the Ontario Museum of History and Art.  The winners of each age group are featured in our annual Día de los Muertos exhibition.
