“The Music of George Gershwin” is coming to the Gardiner Spring Auditorium on April 11. The Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band will be performing at 7:30 p.m. at the historic auditorium on campus at Chaffey High School, 1245 N. Euclid Ave., Ontario.

Early concert goers can come at 7 p.m. to hear “The Woodwind Celebration.”

Admission is free.

This month, the program features hit songs composed by Gershwin, culminating in a performance of his iconic work “Rhapsody in Blue” with piano soloist Maria Pérez. Concert guest performers also include the Harmony Sisters who will perform “I’ve Got Rhythm.” The Harmony Sisters are comprised of Beverly Crowe, Stacey Rosen, and Show Band Concertmaster Chris McAleer. Each member also will sing a Gershwin hit. Also featured on the program are Show Band trumpeter/vocalist Taunia Falasca, Show Band trumpeter King Dalton, and the outstanding musicians of the Ontario Chaffey Community Show Band.
