I have great memories of growing up in California: living in Napa while in grade school; in Thousand Oaks during junior high and high school; and in Pasadena while attending Art Center College of Design. I’ve literally driven thousands of miles throughout the state. Almost everywhere I go in California brings back pleasant memories, which is what I hope my California do for others who appreciate this beautiful state. I believe drawing or painting people is the best way to practice and improve as an artist. It requires observational skills and learning how to use the medium the artist has chosen to work in. The paintings here are a glimpse into the artists’ studio.
