Join us at the Museum for a presentation and book signing by author, architect, and former Maloof Relocation Project Construction Manager, Ann Kovara regarding her book, Moving Sam Maloof: Saving an American Woodworking Legend’s Home & Workshops. Her talk will focus on Sam Maloof (1916–2009), a world-class woodworker and the move of the Maloof historic residence and woodworking studios from the 210-freeway extension right-of-way, and how the new property’s reconstruction fulfills the standards of the National Register of Historic Places.
