In the Fall of 2014, volunteers and downtown arts and culture stakeholders partnered with the Ontario City Council to launch a strategic planning initiative which highlighted existing arts and culture programs and brought new programs to the Downtown Euclid Avenue District. Today, the City of Ontario oversees the city’s cultural planning, advocates for the arts, promotes arts learning and supports the development of cultural activities and creative collaboration with the community.
The Ontario Arts and Culture website was created to help establish a central place for residents and visitors to find all the arts and culture amenities that are in the City of Ontario, as well as a centralized calendar for upcoming events.
The City of Ontario is dedicated to enriching and preserving Ontario’s artistic and cultural heritage and continuing to foster the creativity of the community. With this endeavor, Ontario will become the arts and culture center of the region.
